Privacy policy

Last updated: February 28, 2026

This policy explains what information pog.wiki processes when you use the resolver API and web app.

Information we process

  • - Query text and optional hints you submit to the resolver.
  • - Technical request metadata such as IP address and user agent sent by your client or edge network.
  • - Short-lived rate-limit counters that include an IP key and a hashed query key.
  • - Attribution query parameters (`ref`, `context`) on sister-product handoff links.

How we use this information

  • - Operate resolver endpoints and return canonical documentation matches.
  • - Prevent abuse and protect availability with rate limiting and operational monitoring.
  • - Investigate service issues and maintain API reliability.
  • - Measure handoff quality between pog.wiki and pog.tips.

Storage and retention

The app does not require account creation and does not use advertising cookies. Rate-limit counters in cache are configured with short expiration windows (about one minute). Infrastructure providers may retain standard platform logs under their own policies.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Data is shared only with service providers required to operate the site and when legally required.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated date on this page will change.
